Women is Skills Training Program Graduates 80 Participants

In a joyful graduation ceremony held at the HIRE Community Center, eighty women from Kakuma Refugee Camp successfully completed a three-month vocational skills training program. The program covered areas including tailoring, beadwork, soap making, and financial literacy.

Participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity and shared plans to start small businesses and support their families. Several have already received orders for their products from within the camp community.

HIRE remains committed to empowering women with the skills and confidence they need to build sustainable livelihoods and become agents of change in their communities.
